Giuseppe Schlitzer (Napoli, 1962) is
Director of the Supervisory and Financial
Information Authority of the
Holy See since April 2020, and teaches
Financial Globalization at the
European University of Rome. As an
economist he has served in several
institutions, including the Bank
of Italy, the International Monetary
Fund in Washington D.C. (USA), and
the Confederation of Italian Industry
(Confi ndustria). He is Honorary
Member of the Pontifi cia Academia
Mariana Internationalis and Deputy
Vice President of the Istituto
Internazionale Jacques Maritain in
Rome.
