Friar Giulio Cesareo, 43 years old, since 2017 head of the Vatican Publishing House, is leaving his post to obey the request of the General Minister of the Order of Friars Minor Conventual, who in recent months asked him to become the head of the Communications Office of the Sacred Convent of Assisi and of the Franciscan Publishing House.
The Prefect of the Dicastery for Communication, Paolo Ruffini, greeted him with these words: " Friar Giulio has been a precious, creative and far-sighted collaborator in these years. He has been fundamental in guiding the process of reform of the Holy See's Communications and the integration of the LEV into the Dicastery".
Vatican News interviewed Friar Giulio, who will be leaving Rome for Assisi on 1 July.
