SECONDO LO SPIRITO

A spiritual theology which walks with its Church. A spiritual theology which is expression of the renewal of ecclesial life. This is the main thread of Pope Francis’ teaching. In this oeuvre entitled Secondo lo spirito. La teologia spirituale in cammino con la Chiesa di papa Francesco, Marko Ivan Rupnik, S.I., shows the passages animating the leadership of the Holy Father, aimed at the renewal of the Church according to the guidelines of the II Vatican Council.

The Author presents Pope Francis’ idea of reform, namely an ecclesial life inspired from the mystery itself of the Church in Christ and in the Holy Spirit, through an attentive and original presentation of spiritual theology, from the figure of Abraham – the father of faith – and particularly from liturgy as impetus of evangelization.
