Le diversità riconciliate
Un protestante nel giornale del Papa
The new book by Marcelo Figueroa
Presentation in Rome on Monday 14 March at 3pm - Sala Marconi
On Monday 14 March at 3 p.m. in the Marconi Room of the Pio Palace (Piazza di Porta Pia 3) in Rome, there will be a presentation of Marcelo Figueroa's book Le diversità riconciliate. Un Protestante nel giornale del Papa (Libreria Editrice Vaticana). The volume is enriched by a preface by Pope Francis.
The book chronologically collects the articles, contributions and interviews that Marcelo Figueroa, a presbyter of the Argentine Presbyterian Church and a personal friend of Pope Francis for more than 20 years, has published in L'Osservatore Romano, of which he has become a "signature" since 2016, the first Protestant in the centuries-long history of the Holy See's newspaper. The presentation on 14 March will be attended by Marco Impagliazzo, president of the Community of St Egidio, and Lorenzo Fazzini, head of publishing at Libreria Editrice Vaticana. Andrea Monda, director of L'Osservatore Romano, will open the meeting with greetings. Silvina Perez, head of the Spanish edition of L'Osservatore Romano, will be moderating.
