DIALOGO CON TERESA

Two women, of different ages and social and historical conditions, facing each other and in dialogue: this is the situation of this singular and fascinating book that sees their writings juxtaposed in a clash of truths. The first is Therese of Lisieux, a French Carmelite nun who died of tuberculosis at a very young age, just 24 years old, in 1897, at the end of a life lived with mystical passion, and was proclaimed a Doctor of the Church, the third woman to receive such recognition, in 1997. The second, the author of the Dialogue, Maria Rita Bozzetti, is a woman of today, 'immersed in life'. With refined and delicate sensitivity, the author penetrates the inner "laboratory" of St Theresa of the Child Jesus, revealing the light of her evangelical littleness that makes her great in Love. With a Preface by Cardinal Marcello Semeraro; an Introduction by Vincenzo Guarracino; a Note by Mother Benedetta Grasso and an Afterword by Don Carmelo Mezzasalma.
