During the Jubilee dedicated to Mercy, the annual Formation Course for Bishops ordained between September 2015 and July 2016, was based on their pastoral service as Apostles of Mercy. In the week between 11th and 18th September 2016, the Bishops, in a serene ambience of fraternity organised by the Congregation for the Eastern Churches, retraced an itinerary of reflection on pastoral charity, based on the trio 'liturgy, prophecy and charity' as salient aspects of the life of ecclesia in which teachers and guides are created. In order to guarantee a greater diffusion, this volume collects the texts of reports, of the homilies pronounced during the concelebrations and of the forums which articulated the various steps of this initiative, in its 16th edition. The aim of this collection of interventions is to offer readers, above all Bishops and priests of the Church, a chance to reflect on the gift of Lord’s Mercy, to be found in some examples of ecclesial ordinary life in which the journey of faith in laetitia to the kingdom takes place.
