Edited by Maria Rosaria Del Genio
Preface by cardinal Tomas Spidlik, SJ
The volume collects writings by Armida Barelli selected and introduced by Maria Rosaria del Genio. Armida Barelli has been one of the founders of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan. Although grewn up in a bourgeois context not favorable to the catholic faith, she arrives at a wonderful contemplative vision of everything that surrounds her; an exquisite ability to build relationship develops in her, who becomes able to meet and put herself at the service of every person, even the simplest. From her person and activity emerges another life, the divine one, which does not separate her from the world but illuminates her relationships and her cultural and social commitment with love and service. Her life becomes in this way a source of inspiration for others. Because of its great evangelical and cultural relevance, her message is worthy of being increasingly known and spread.
