NEW CHARTER FOR HEALTH CARE WORKERS

The Church has always perceived the service to the sick as "an essential part of its mission", associating "the preaching of the Good News with the assistance and care of the sick". 
The text of the New Charter for Health Care Workers revises and updates this document while maintaining its original structure, which focuses on the vocation of health care workers as ministers of life. In addition to the advancement of medical science and its possible repercussions on human life, medical-legal and social-health issues are addressed.
