Sant'Angela da Foligno

On October 9, 2013 Pope Francis enrolled Blessed Angela of Foligno in the catalog of Saints, extending her liturgical worship to the universal Church. In the present volume, Card. Amato, Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints, explains how this pronouncement was reached, dwelling on the various petitions for canonization. The author also retraces the steps of the exemplary conduct of the Saint's life, highlighting the spiritual experience that emerges from her writings.
