A reflection on our society and our digital culture trying not to stay on the surface, but to go, in a sense, behind the scenes of what appears, to understand the mechanisms underlying many everyday phenomena related to the digital world. Digital communication technologies are a privileged space of expression and in a certain sense they give us back what we are in terms of humanity and society. In this sense, education cannot be resolved in a mere instruction on how to morally use technology, but rather must help to a broader vision of society, to a critical awareness, and also a political ability to think of a social and economic model that avoids the growing disparity between a world of a few rich and many poor ones.
