Human mobility involves new pastoral and juridical problems concerning the Christian education and formation, the religious life of family, mixed marriage between Catholics of various Churches sui iuris and between Catholics and non-Catholics. It is necessary to consider the consequences of the more and more consistent presence of eastern catholic faithful in the Latin dioceses, as well as of the conservation of their rites, considered as spiritual, theological, liturgical and disciplinary patrimony. The Pastors of the Latin Church, to which Eastern faithful are entrusted, are invited to analyse in depth their knowledge about the existence and the patrimony (spiritual, theological, liturgical and disciplinary) of Catholic Eastern Churches and are called to become pastors and defenders of the right of Eastern faithful to experience and pray according to the tradition received by the Fathers in their Church. The volume collects the Acts of the Study Day which took place on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the promulgation of the Code of Canons for the Eastern Churches (Rome, St. Pius X Room, 3rd October 2015).
