Since the first decades of the 16th century, the hagiographic events and the testimony of the sanctity of Blessed Columba have acquired a decisive universal afflatus, thanks to the fact that the "saint of Perugia" belonged to the Dominican family, which spread her cult and devotion throughout Europe, following the lines of the dense institutional and international network of the communities of the Order of Preaching Friars. This work, in two full-bodied tomes, will constitute a rich historiographical Summa, as well as offering itself as a notable source of new research and in-depth studies on the figure, the message and the - very much alive today - Blessed Columba. It contains a greeting by Cardinal Gualtiero Bassetti and a Presentation by Father Bernard Ardura. The text is sponsored by the Beata Colomba da Rieti Association.
