LO SCIOGLIMENTO DEL MATRIMONIO IN FAVOREM FIDEI A vent’anni dall’Istruzione Potestas Ecclesiae (2001-2021) Norme e Commenti

In April 2021, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, together with the Faculty of Canon Law of the Pontifical Lateran University, promoted a Study Day on the theme "The Dissolution of Marriages in Favour of the Faith. Twenty years after the Instruction Potestas Ecclesiae (2001-2021)". In addition to the text of the 2001 Norms, this volume also contains the individual contributions to the event. It is intended to be not only a canonical aid for legal practitioners, but also a pastoral aid for diocesan and eparchial Bishops as well as all Pastors of souls on the purely documentary and procedural aspect of cases in favorem fidei, with the aim of promoting the understanding of the above-mentioned canonical norms as one of the pastoral means to foster and protect the Catholic faith in people who, after the granting of a pontifical grace, will start a new marriage and family life.
