DONNE E CHIESA: PER UN LABORATORIO DI IDEE

This volume brings together a substantial representation of the first edition of the diploma in 'Women and the Church', promoted by the Institute for Advanced Studies on Women, with the aim of creating a laboratory of ideas and activating processes. We believe that promoting the role of women in the Church and effective collaboration between men and women, clergy and laity in ecclesial circles is a task that cannot be put off. It is a fundamental issue, a necessary path for the Church to be a credible witness today. We ask Mary for the holy fear of God to guard the deposit of faith that does not belong to us, and also for the courage to change patterns, structures and cultures, stepping out of our comfort zone and continually setting out on the road to conversion. To Her we have always asked that our efforts may not be a success, but that they may be fruitful for the Kingdom. To you is our acknowledgement of the journey we have embarked upon, and our trust in what is to come.
