The volume presents a study on the kingship of Mary Queen in the thought of Emanuele di Gesù Maria. The author places the work of Emanuele di Gesù Maria in its historical environment - Naples in the 17th century - and in the ecclesial tradition, specifically Carmelite, about the mystery of the Virgin's kingship. Before examining Emanuele's Mariale and, subsequently, other works that reflect the ideas contained herein, it seemed to me appropriate to take up the tradition of the Church about this mystery of Mary of Nazareth in order to understand what had been expressed until the 17th century and how the Carmelite tradition interpreted this condition of the Mother of Jesus.
