DA TUTTE LE GENTI UN’UNICA SPOSA Commenti all’Istruzione Ecclesiae Sponsae Imago sull’Ordo virginum

This volume stems from a very significant event for consecrated virgins: the publication by the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life of the first Instruction on the Ordo virginum: Ecclesiæ Sponsæ Imago. The collected contributions deepen the content of the Instruction from different perspectives and deal with themes such as: the vocation of consecrated virgins, called to be virgin brides, virgin mothers, virgin sisters of human people, a gift for the Church today and for the whole world. They are called to be pilgrims in a history where they live the anticipation of the future life by participating in the life of the world in their daily existence, rooted in a particular Church, called to develop in a charismatic way their baptismal consecration, having Mary as their model. The foreword is by João Braz de Aviz, Cardinal Prefect of the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life.
