The modern democracies are called to deal with this distance and to reorganize themselves to reply to change. The Gravissimum Educationis Foundation contributes to this process with the project «Democracy: an educational urgency». This book contains the reflections developed in the first phase of the research, where the deepening of the different theoretical dimensions, although not exhaustive, already allows us to look afield, opening up new views.
