Adrien Candiard, a French Dominican and Islamologist living in Egypt, one of the most widely read Christian authors of spiritualitỳ in Europe, will be in Italy this April to present his latest volume "A Few Words Before the Apocalypse. Reading the Gospel in times of crisis". He will meet readers on 17, 18 and 19 April in Turin, Nola and Bari.
This is the detailed programme of the public meetings:
Monday 17 April at 6.45pm in Turin Adrien Candiard will meet the public at the Arsenale della Pace (Piazza Borgo Dora, 61) as part of the "University of Dialogue" initiative. Tuesday 18 April at 7.00 p.m. in Nola (NA) the dialogue will take place in the Medallions Hall of the Bishop's Palace with a reflection on: "Reading the Gospel in times of crisis". On Wednesday 19 April at 8.00 p.m. in the city of Bari it will be the turn of a meeting with Adrien Candiard in the St. Francis Hall, Basilica-Parish Santa Fara (via Gen. N. Bellomo, 94) that will have as its theme "on the shores of the Mediterranean: tolerance and indifference or encounter and dialogue".
