LA FESTA DEL PERDONO CON PAPA FRANCESCO. SUSSIDIO PER LA CONFESSIONE E L'INDULGENZA

Forgiveness is the most evident sign of the Father’s omnipotence and love, which Jesus revealed in his earthly life.Divine mercy has a particular meaning in Pope Francis’s life and spiritual itinerary and alongside with it, as it is reminded us in the Apostolic Letter Misericordia et Misera,  the sacrament of Reconciliation must regain its central place in Christian life”. Quoting almost entirely the Pontiff’s words, with this volume, the Apostolic Penitentiary intends to offer a support to the Confession and to the Indulgences. The book contains some suggestions for the faithful – on what confession is, how to confess, how to prepare for the sacrament of the confession, the Act of Contrition – for the confessor and also focuses on what the Indulgences are and how it is possible to obtain them.

The volume is enriched with the Holy Father’s commentaries to the following parables: the woman who kisses Jesus’s feet (Lk 7: 36-50), the forgiven Adulterer (Jn 8; 1-11), the Parable of the unmerciful servant (Mt 18: 21-35).
