Un itinerario quaresimale
This volume, the result of a collaboration between LEV and the Polish publishing house Rosikon Press, describes the Roman traditions of Lent. More specifically, it presents the moving religious, spiritual and artistic experience of the author, who participated in the morning masses at the stationary churches of Rome. The volume contains information collected by the author over the course of this particular pilgrimage that lasted about nine years. In particular, it deals with history, architecture, traditions, legends of 44 churches, everything intertwined with descriptions of everyday life in Rome. It is a spiritual journey that manages to convey the special atmosphere perceived when visiting these churches. The volume also has an elegant graphic layout, enriched by many color reproductions.
