Carlo di Cicco, emeritus vicedirector of L’Osservatore Romano, has been a journalist since 1977. He has collaborated with important local and national secular and catholic newspapers and national magazines: with Rai (GR1) he is editor in particular of the social and religious information. For 10 years, he directed the Bollettino di Pax Christi in Italy; he is editor of the Bollettino salesiano, the section Il punto giovani on themes of educative issues. A large part of his career was at the Agenzia Asca (now Askanews) as vatican copy editor, then as editor in chief introducing for the first time in Italy the figure of social editor.
